Hopefully, you will never make that statement. But if you do, you absolutely should know where the closest 24-7 emergency vet hospital is and how to get there.<\/p>\n

There are two 24 hour emergency vet hospitals in Philadelphia: Penn and VSEC. But they may not be that close if you live near Southwest or Northeast Philadelphia,<\/p>\n

I also found 5 emergency vet hospitals in surrounding counties. Two of them are in New Jersey, the other 3 are in three different counties bordering Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

    The VSEC Conshohocken emergency vet hospital has an address of Ridge Pike, but it looks like the building is off of Ridge in an industrial park. Their hospital is about 45 minutes from my location in the Art Museum area. So this might only be a closer option if you live near the Roxborough and Chestnut Hill neighborhoods.<\/p>\n

    Their hospital is about 25 minutes from my location in the Art Museum area and slightly northeast of Cherry Hill. The closest Philadelphia neighborhoods are Port Richmond and Bridesburg (use the Betsy Ross bridge), or Old City (use the Ben Franklin Bridge).<\/p>\n
