Pet Taxi Services For Philadelphia, PA<\/b><\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are not a lot of companies that provide a pet taxi, or pet concierge, service in Philadelphia. I could only find 13 that list having pet taxi or transportation as a service they provide.<\/p>\n

Most people would rarely need this service unless they were unable to drive themselves. And that would make this service very desirable. The most common reasons might be a recent illness, injury or surgery where you are unable to drive or walk.<\/p>\n

This would also be valuable for elderly people who do not drive or own a car. Or for anyone who does not own a car.<\/p>\n

My thoughts are that this is\u00a0an important service that you will need when you least expect it. Like an accident resulting in an injury. Being bedridden from the flu when you felt fine the previous day. And as it often happens, just when you are out of dog food or cat litter.<\/p>\n

You might want to keep these company names in your back pocket (or in your phone). At least the companies that are closest to you.<\/p>\n

Costs & Links for Pet Taxi Services in Philadelphia (as of 9\/4\/19)<\/b><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Here are the 13 companies in Philadelphia that offer a pet taxi service. Only 6 provide costs. I would assume the pet taxi service costs for the other companies are similar:<\/p>\n

Bark Play Love<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

Their concierge service is a $10 cost for a one way trip to the groomer or vet (plus walk cost). That sounds like you have to be one of their clients. Though you might be able to employ them if you live close. A round trip pet taxi service costs $20 + the walk rate. They are based in Manayunk.<\/p>\n

City of Paws<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

They do not list any rates or cost for their pet taxi service. They are also based in the Manayunk area and will travel up to 5 miles from their service area.<\/p>\n

Doggie Style Pets<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

Delivery of pet supplies only – same-day door-to-door delivery. No trips to the groomer or vet. They are based in 8 different zip codes: 19103, 19106, 19107, 19123, 19130, 19146, 19147, & 19148.<\/p>\n

Just 4 Paws<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

Their daycare drop-off ($3) and pick-up ($5)\u00a0 service are ONLY for residents of Rittenhouse Hill apartments.<\/p>\n

M&M Pet Care Service<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

They do not list their pet taxi service cost. I\u2019m not sure what part of Philly they are based in,\u00a0though one of their testimonials is from a client in East Falls. Their page mentions drop off and pick up for visits to the vet, groomers, training, and daycare.<\/p>\n

Pawty Time<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

They are in Fishtown. Their pet taxi pick-up and drop-off cost to the groomer is $20. A one hour round trip to the vet is $28 and $14 for each additional half-hour.<\/p>\n

Pet Snobs Boutique<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

Their pet taxi is only for their grooming clients and they are based in zip code 19147, South Philly. Their one-way pet taxi service cost is either $5, $10 or $15 dollars depending on the distance. For round trips, the cost is $10, $15 or $25.<\/p>\n

Phila Paws & Claws<\/a>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

They have a $10-35 drop-off and pickup rate with a maximum distance of 10 miles. I can’t see which zip code they are in and their site is poorly designed and slow.<\/p>\n

Tails of Philly<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

Their pet taxi service cost is up to 10 miles (not sure if that is one way or round trip). The pet taxi cost for 30 minutes is $25 and $40 for 60 minutes. They also list per mile rates over 10 miles or over 60 minutes. So it sounds like they will travel far if you are not close to them. They service many areas of Philly so I linked to their service area page.<\/p>\n

Top Tails<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

They are based in Manayunk and also service Roxborough and NE Philly. The zip codes that they list are 19118, 19119, 19127. 19128 and 19129. They do not list their pet taxi service cost.<\/p>\n

Walk This Way<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

They are based in Manayunk and service many areas of Philly. They do not list their pet taxi service cost.<\/p>\n

Wissahickon Walkers<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

They obviously are based in the Wissahickon area. Their pet taxi service cost is $35 per hour rounded to the quarter-hour.<\/p>\n

Woof n Stuff<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

Their pet taxi service charge is $10 each way for various appointments. Extra charges for wait time or over 5 miles. They service many neighborhoods in South Philly.<\/p>\n
